Dr. Davis, Dr. Hemmer, Dr. Puckett, Dr. Wheeler, Dr. Weiss, Dr. Vachtsevanos: SCG- Orthopaedics, PC

During my mentorship, I took patients back, took their vitals, and put them in rooms. I also got to set up the room for injections and even helped the doctors with the injections. I broke down charts, surgery charts, and organized MRI disks. I even got to shadow the front desk a few days to learn about the different aspects about running a practice. I learned so much about all different types of injuries and treatment options. I was able to see patients before, during, and after their treatment. Towards the end of my mentorship I would go into the patients’ room and listen to their symptoms and try to diagnose the injury in my head and then listen to what my mentor says. I liked doing this because it showed how much I have learned throughout the year. I followed some amazing orthopaedics and I am very lucky to get such a rare oppurtunity!
